I have solar panels and am producing much more than I use. My electric company is charging me over £50 a month. I am refusing to get a smart meter and my old meter is going backwards, They say it has no back stop but that is a made up word. I have had 3 refunds as I am in a lot of credit but they are now refusing. They have offered me 4.1ppu which I feel is too low and have refused. I am asking them to let me know who I have a contract with but they refuse to tell me as it is not them. I have advised and have cancelled my DD and am putting it in a separate account. As you can see I have so far gone the commercial route – is there any benefit going the LfM route ? Thanks
