How can I stay in honour and explore to its fullest, the outcome of not paying my rural property taxes?
from BC, Canada. I have transformed my whole life! My business is in the private, I have no debt, paid off my mortgage in full and pay no income tax anymore. I am curious about my property tax. I did not pay upon notice this July. I have now received another notice that if not paid by December, an additional 5%will be added as a penalty. I am not opposed to paying property taxes- the services are for police, schools etc. However, I really do want to see what happens. What happens if these are not paid. I would like to stay in honour and begin a correspondence. I want to do this in a balanced way… to “play” with this just to explore the so-called consequences. But I don’t want to be dishonourable. Is it possible to stay in honour, while the splitting this further? Or would it be more honourable to pay, and then ask questions? (I would also point out that my property taxes itemizes school, policing, Rec centre- which we couldn’t go to last year without vax pass-; library -that we could use without mask;)
