For those of us with existing ties to the system (drivers license, marriage license, birth certificate, SSN, mortgage, etc), how much do these ties limit us as wo/man? Do we need to correct all such ties, or can we stand as wo/man despite them? As a concrete example, if I have DL can I still move about freely in my car as a wo/man or does the mere existence of the DL make me always a “driver” under their authority? If “driver” is a title/role/costume I ought to be able to use it as I please, but not sure if that works in practice.
