How do you at the Sovereigns Way handle all the issues that come with “driving” your car? How do you at the Sovereigns Way handle all the issues that come with "driving" your car? I ask this question from a general layman's understanding of the term driving. I understand that the word "driving" has a different meaning in their system. I've heard a lot of Sovereigns say that they are not driving or operating a motor vehicle in commerce but that they are "traveling in their private conveyance". I heard too many horror stories of Sovereigns having there windows smashed in and getting forcibly removed from the vehicle then having their car towed and impounded for not having a drivers license, registration, insurance or license plates. What do you at the Sovereigns Way teach on the subject of how to remain Sovereign and still drive your car without getting harassed by the Policy Enforcers? What do you do about the drivers license, registration, license plates and insurance? I heard a lot of different conflicting theories on how to handle these issues. Some of it works sometimes and other times it doesn't work at all. Not knowing your position on this issue is what made me hesitate from signing up for your course before. Thank You for your time.

  1. I would add to this a car that meets MY requirements. I though my world ended when Governments left and right took away such a basic right as the freedom to quickly move to the other side of a car if something threatens the place where you’re sitting, and the ability to quickly evacuate a car has only gotten worse. I am vehemently opposed to PTD-slavebelts, centrally–controlled door locks/windows, electronic management systems, and pretty much everything that’s been added to car “safety” standards since the 1990’s. I haven’t driven a car since 1998, haven’t driven a model later than 1991 (I think; it was the driver’s ed car in 1992), haven’t even ridden in a model later than 2005 (and I considered that to have exceeded my limit). Meanwhile, the “tolerable” cars (I’ve given up on “enjoyable”) are fewer and farther between (haven’t encountered one in 4 years), buses have added slavebelts, and the “pedestrians prohibited” paths and number of services that require travel to another city increase.
