i take issue with Jon’s position on Speeding Tickets and Driver’s Licenses – it sticks out like a sore thumb against everything else he teaches; what’s Jon’s ego hangup that’s stopping him from seeing that Driving rules are not common law? common law means common to every single man and woman involved, including i, and i certainly don’t consent to licensing – i got a Driver’s License under coercion, because a coercive precedent has been thoroughly established that men and women acting as policy enforcers will commit tresspass against i by way of coercion, harm, and/or robbery if i travel in an automobile freely in accordance with the right of i to do whatever i want without causing harm; every man and woman acting as policy enforcers is actively committing tresspass by way of coercion against every one of us by way of the afforementioned coercive precedent; how would we go about pressing claim against them for this?

I’m interested in this discussion, AND I have a different perspective. . . I believe Jon’s stance is contradictory to his other teaching as well. . . but for a different reason. . . On one hand Greg and Jon state that they don’t want to change the world with this Knowledge Share, inplying that God’s will is perfect. . . Soooo. . . Isn’t it Double-Minded to say that while I’m driving and I hit, “jimmy bouncing his ball in the road” is WRONG if I’m speeding, but OK (ie. not my fault) if I’m NOT speeding? Is it ALL God’s will or not??? What does speeding have to do with it??? If I’m perfectly being spontaneous and in the flow what does the speed-limit have to do with it??? Who is Jon to say one event IS God’s will and another is not??? Jon I’m curious how you square this, as it appears to me to be an inconsistency in your calculus. All the BEst! I’m loving this course, and so ever grateful to be participating here!
everything that happens in the present is God’s will and is God’s present to us, but who are Greg and Jon to say that it is not God’s will to use them to teach the law for mankind to change the world for the better? why are Greg and Jon even bothering to teach the course if not to change the world for the better? i am taking the course because i think it is God’s intent that it will change the world for the better.
note that a speed limit is an arbitrary number, and there are no arbitrary numbers in law
There needs to be evidence of speeding, if that is the claim. As someone else mentions here, speed is an arbitrary number. And the methods of determination, plus measurement are highly disputed. If harm is caused, in an accident for example, I can comprehend the need to take responsibility, but speeding?
