If businesses are legal fictions, how do you work with hundreds of men and women as men and women in reality instead of fiction?

I think you can work with them in the business legal fiction as long as they do no harm to you / me as a wo/man.
I am speaking as a business owner, wondering if it is possible to shift from relating to all employees and contractors and instead relate to them as men and woman.
