The local council is telling us we do not have permission for the roundhouse (eco build/sod roof etc) we have built on our own land and say we must demolish it. How do we avoid doing this? thanks!
Living in rural Ireland we imagined that our "shed" as it is, would be exempt but the council says no for no real reason except that we didn't ask for permission. I do not recognise their power and I am aware that regulations and statutes are not lawful but how to resolve this? thanks for your help.x

If the real estate is ‘registered’ with authorities, one has to follow their codes. But ‘inquiry’ into what their cause of action is about, would be interesting .
