I have a 60 day deadline to pay capital gains tax on a second property which I have recently sold. It feels really unnatural (and unfair) to pay this tax and I wanted to know if I can revoke it.

  1. Yes, interested in this too, as my lawyer forced me to sign a tax declaration, otherwise he would keep 1/3 of the sales proceed and give it to the Inland Revenue directly. Actually thinking of noticing the lawyer for extortion, or something like that. I managed to put the IRD number in brackets, but am not sure if that is enough to avoid property tax
