i, have been collecting USA Social Security ‘(survivor benefits’ since July 2019; i, confess that i, don’t yet understand if (and how) i, can state any claim that the ‘contributions’ were compulsorily taken out of the compensations of i, and those of my deceased husband; please clarify, and with much gratitude!

  1. My understanding is a business, corporation, government are compulsory to collect FICA taxes, via an act, as they consider money for a job as income rather than compensation and by your agreement to accept to be an employee. Private and not-for-profit organizations seem more plausible to declare as compensation or donation support.
