I know this is limited to the u.s., but if we are contracting through a company, who sends the IRS a 1099 form regarding our pay, is this considered the same as Income, and are we considered fully in the public and required to pay tax in the same way? That being said, i know i can send a notice stating the amount i can pay monthly without causing harm to i. Thank you!

For those who prefer to carry a personal protection device (a pistol), how do you use this knowledge when having to defend your life against those who wish to do you or others deadly harm, both in one’s home and in the public that results in their death? How would you handle the police and the likelihood of court?

Before I knew about UCC and statutes, I got thrown in the klink for 2 weeks for not filing paying 8K they claimed I owed. This was about 10 years ago. Can or should I even go back and take the prosecutor and Maine state revenue agent that was a jerk to me to court?

I have received notices from the federal taxing agency about taxes they claim I owe from 2006 and 2007. I didn’t file. A couple of years later, they assessed the tax. I’m not sure when that was, but I think it has been over 10 years. Maybe not. Of course they added interest and fees, so now it is quite a bit. Suggestions?

How can you claim your land as a wo/man if the bank has the title certificate (there used to be a mortguage on the property, but there no longer is, but they still refuse to give back the title certificate?)

What happens when roads and transportation are closed or cut off, I am currently living through a flood in BC Canada and wonder how getting notices out will work when they’ve shut down major arteries of transportation. Since there’s such a delay with postal service should I default to sending them via email?
